Meditation

Through meditation you can relax and silence the mind in stillness to attain the joy and happiness you want to obtain. You ultimately reconnect with the source of Oneness and the Mind of God. It helps you focus on what you really want to manifest into your life. This means that no matter what you focus on, it becomes magically magnetized into the energy field that surrounds you. Sooner or later, it transforms and manifests into your physical reality. This is why it is so profoundly important to stop your mind from wondering about what you don’t want instead of focusing on what you actually do want in your life. Meditation helps you stop the mind from wandering along the wrong path. When you can fix your attention on what you desire, you can instantly stop thinking about what you do not want and remain concentrated on what your impulses desire.

You can practice meditation at any time and in any place. You do not need to limit the areas in which you do meditation. You can meditate while you are walking, showering, cooking, sitting, waiting in line, or when doing anything you can think of—just by doing it. You simply sit still and silence your mind by emptying or clearing it for a moment, so you can reconnect with your source. When the mind is empty, it cannot bring in anything to hurt or upset you. You begin to feel like you were set free. You are not being controlled or forced to do something you do not want to do. You are connected to the original source of who you are as an infinite being. As an infinite being, you are free to do everything, yet you do not carry any earthly things with you. You are absolutely free from any earthly bounds and expectations.

You have nothing to worry about because you are nothing but an empty soul in the Universe. You are a free spirit. You originated as an infinite being that dwells in a human body to walk on a spiritual journey on Earth.

When you have a moment, sit or lie down quietly on a couch with no disturbances or people around you. If you desire to do so, light candles and play soothing sounds to assist your concentration on inward meditation. The purpose of this meditation is to relax your mind so you can refocus afterward. Now take three deep breaths and quiet the mind. In the beginning, you notice that your mind still wanders around and thinks of the many things you had done earlier. You do not need to worry, though. Bring your mind back to the focal point of your origination and purpose. After 10 minutes, you notice that your mind begins to settle, and many unreal thoughts start to fade away. Your real expectations can now be obtained from the inner state of mind, which is different from the external world of desire and happiness. You begin to hear your inner spirit speak to you. You realize the thoughts and ideas coming to you are more lucid, and they support and strengthen each other side-by-side rather than being separate. The more time you spend in meditation, the more you realize the progress of your spiritual efforts. Eventually, your personal will and the Source will start to flow harmoniously as one and become oneness.

Meditation will help you forget the world that is full of jealousy, hatred, and the unloved. If you can live without attachment and impulse, the world completely changes for the better. The transition is like sleeping in a brand new place. At first, you have trouble falling into sleep. Once you get used to the place, however, you sleep very well.

In the same way, in the beginning it will be difficult to perform inward meditation. But over time, you will learn to do things more easily.

If you can control the desires of your mind, you can immediately relate this control to daily activities. It may surprise you to learn that we can control the activities of our wandering minds, and we can already recognize the capacity to remember our desires. We can control the way we desire things. Once you manage the ability to control your desires, which enhances your self-awareness, you will perceive the way to inner harmony.

After a prolonged period of practicing inward meditation, you will notice that your impatience and anger are banished. This occurs when you connect to God’s love through your inner connection with the Divine Source and will lead you to gladly share this love with others. Your life transforms into a self-motivated relationship with the Divine. You become the person God means for you to be – you become more like Him, behaving like God by showing kindness and compassion. You join with Him to achieve the joy and happiness you really want to accomplish on Earth.

You begin to comprehend more in life; you begin to deal with the fear and resentment you have accumulated over the years. Your past resentment towards people, places, and things has isolated you in a world of your own and restricted you from living in the present moment. Resentment is the fallout from hiding the upsetting events that have discolored your life. Resentment encourages anger, frustration, and depression, all of which suppress you. When you don’t deal with your resentment, it causes mental and physical illness. However, love is the only atonement that can repair the hurt you’ve received over the years. You should meditate and reconnect with the Source of forgiveness so the Source can forgive any wrong that you have done; gradually, love will work miracles in you.
