Forgiveness
As Jesus was dying on the cross, being crucified by the Romans, he cried out to God: “Father, forgive those who have hurt me.” In our own lives, we have many unhappy and painful experiences, but how do we erase the pain and heal from those awful events? We don’t want to carry those burdens with us throughout our lives. Those tragic events are like nightmares that stalk us in our subconscious mind, day in and day out. When we are sleeping, our memories are recurring in our dreams, resulting in a restless sleep that eventually affects our mortal health and well-being.
However, through forgiveness, we can eliminate those unwanted events from repeating throughout our lives. Forgiveness will open a flood door of relief by helping us to eliminate things and events we want to put it behind, but not suppress within us. Negative emotions, such as anger, frustration, hatred, jealousy, envy, fear and worry, that we have stored in our minds, cause us pain and sorrow and never seem to go away.
When we are hurt by someone, we should forgive them and ask for blessings for that person. In return, the Universe will bless us. The Universe knows we no longer carry the hatred within us; therefore we deserve a blessing. We should do unto others what we want others to do unto us.
In other words, when we forgive others, we actually forgive ourselves. We forgive that we drove ourselves into such unforgettable events subconsciously without thorough thought. The sooner we let go of past events, the sooner we lighten the burden on our shoulders. We have to accept that certain past events were beyond our control and are not our fault. They have already been experienced and the sooner we forgive, the sooner everything will return to normal. This is a duo concept that we have adopted on the planet Earth.
All things come with positive and negative consequences. The sooner we experience the negative, the sooner the positive will emerge because no tragic events last forever. When we experience positive events, we are filled with joy and happiness and all negativity fades away. Hence when we forgive others and bless them, we bless ourselves. All negative things can be forgotten and put behind us; there is no need to mention them again. Positive events allow us to be inspired. When we hear God’s voice speak to us in silence, we ultimately remember our original nature as Infinite Beings who are full of love. God dwells within us, and we live and breathe through God. Our life is illuminated by God. We understand God is always forgiving, and with His unconditional love we no longer feel pain inside, but combine to attain joy and happiness so we can carry on and complete all His works and missions on Earth.
