What is life?
Some say life is a gamble, a sacred gift or a test. What is your
perspective or metaphor that refers to what life is …?
Life is about everything: it just depends on what an individual
perceives as their own interpretation. If one’s says, “Life is a gamble” the
person hearing it could possibly be a gambler who likes to gamble. This is
because, when you play a game, you do not know if you are going to win. You are
actually challenging the unknown, or your fate or luck, and hoping to win. It
may or may not be influenced by your beliefs or how skillful you are. However,
if you can filter out a lot of things that affect the way you think and the way
you feel, then the chance of winning is high. To some, life is a gift. That
could be right because from a spiritual point of view life is a gift from the
Divine. Indeed, every life or thing on planet Earth is a precious gift from the
Holy, the First Course of God. God’s spirit breathes into humans so we live and
illuminated by Him. We are creatures of the Divine and a part of His creation.
The hallowed has given humans free will to do everything and have fun living
temporarily on Earth until the time we return to Him and are united with Him
again.
On the contrary, you may view it differently to
another person. It depends on the time of your interpretation, as that
represents the situation you are in. Then, life on one side of the coin could be
very sensitive or difficult with no joy at all. However, if life has only one
flow or interval, then it could stop us from doing our best to make changes.
Nevertheless, all changes bring benefits in some environments or limitations in
others. There is nothing wrong with difficult times in life, since all things
will not stay at one stage; hence, it must have up and down periods so that
improvements can be made and we can help each other to overcome the downtime and
see the light again! We need to
experience all the areas that life presents to us and work on the right script
that fits our situation and circumstances. How do you think life has affected
you? Perhaps you think life is like a garden. You have to improve and look after
it all the time. In other words, you must pay attention to how the plants and
flowers are growing: eventually you will reap a harvest. This also allows you to
transform the qualities of life you desire and the connections you share with
nature.
Life can be like a script, or a print, or picture. Can you
imagine a movie in which everyone runs their own script? You will have your own
character and personality as if it is in real time. Nobody has the same script
as you. It is unique. Printing a picture is a bit different because you do not
know the next step you will have to take, though you may have some general
idea. You may change your mind from your original plan about how the picture is
going to be. This is when you are, all of sudden, interrupted by the spirit:
then your picture will change completely. Printing a picture is an inspiration
from the Spirit. You connect to the dimension out of the third dimension and
temporarily log into the unknown of the fifth element; then you print a state
of art. In silence it represents the moment you are in with your feelings and
emotions expressed: every stroke gives hints in the picture. It translates
instantly the way you look at your life through the print you create by
reflecting the mood of your inner emotions; whether you are happy, upset,
anxious or angry, you illustrate it all to the world in a simple way.
How do we turn life around when life is not the way we desire or
expected? If you cover one eye with a patch then you see thing differently.
Sometimes you may only see events that happen as more negative than positive.
But, in time, you overcome your ability only to see negativity in your
surroundings: eventually you receive the power to see both. When we learn to see
the positive in our lives, rather than to see what we lack, then we can become a
seer.
If you were experiencing an intense pain, then
why did you change? Perhaps you do not quit even though you are unhappy and so
much in pain: your fear of the unknown was a more powerful and inspiring
force. “Yeah, I have cancer, I am
scared and unhappy,”you may have thought, “but, what if I take the treatment: I
may suffer more side effects and than I will never feel better. At least, if I
do nothing, I fear not; I know how to deal with the pain I currently
have.”
This kind of thinking is what keeps people from making
transformational changes. Ultimately, the pain of being in a negative
relationship turns out greater than your fear of the unknown, the unthought-of
or the unseen, so you hit a threshold and make the change and accept the
treatment. Perhaps the experience that finally pushes you over the edge was your
failure to make deceive decision. As soon as you make your decision you are
going to accomplish the results that you want to reap and get healed. You are
motivated by your own effort and committed to complete the therapy. If you
gather a strong intention to live life painlessly, you can make changes in an
instant about something you have failed to change for years. If you allow this
consistency to last, you are able to finalize your pains and fears.
The greatest leverage of fear comes from inside, not outside.
Knowing that you failed to meet the standard of life is your ultimate pain. You
fail to meet with the standard of your own identity, of who you are. Then the
void is between the action and who you are, driving you to make changes. Why do
people refuse change? For some people change can be associated with more pain
than not changing. In order to change, we have to reverse, thus making
not-changing become incredibly painful (painful is what is beyond our
tolerance) and the idea of changing attractive and pleasurable.
